"Inspirations" was a multi-year project undertaken by the Elicio Winds to commission five new interdisciplinary works for the trio, as well as a second recording project.  We were fortunate to receive two grants from the Alabama State Council on the Arts, the first to commission the works, the second to record them.  We're grateful to them, as well as Auburn University and the Draughon Center on the Arts for their financial support for this project.

We were delighted to get to sit down with an interview with our host at the GPAC to discuss the project, the work that went into the grant, and our inspiration for each piece.
